Boris Krcmar vs. Ryan Joyce
Joyce has hit top form, winning eight of his last ten matches and reaching the final of PC24 a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully he hasn’t lost it. He averaged 97.24 across his seven matches and beat MVG and Clayton before losing the final to Gary Anderson.
Krcmar has won six of his last ten matches but hasn’t shown much consistency, with everything from a ton plus average to six sub 90s. If there is consistency, it is sub 90 consistency.
These two have met twice, both in 2021 in Players Championship events, and Joyce won 6-4 and 6-2.

Martin Lukeman vs. Madars Razma
Lukeman is another player who hit some nice form in the recent Players Championship events. He played ten, won seven, hit four ton plus averages and had a total of eight over 96. He has only played in three Euro Tour events this year and won all three first round matches.
Razma is not yet guaranteed a place in the European Championships and is under pressure to get a win here. His recent form is not good, losing no less than seven of his last ten matches.

Karel Sedlacek vs. Alan Soutar
Two players in poor form with Soutar losing seven of his last ten matches, Sedlacek six.
However, it is Soutar’s Euro Tour performances which stand out like a very sore thumb. He has played in four events, won two matches, but has failed to average over 90 in any of them. He has lost three of his four first round matches and the win was against a local qualifier.
Sedlacek is an underrated player, very straight and good at taking his chances. He has only played in one Euro Tour event in 2023 and reached the third round. He has reached a couple of quarter finals in the past.
Another two pointer would be in order if Evil Charlie was in better form, but Soutar looks worth opposing.

Dylan Slevin vs. Nico Kurz
Kurz looks a very big price given his form in yesterday’s qualifying event. He played five matches, won them all with an overall average of 93.67. He is a good player and while he has lost all three of his opening matches on this year’s Euro Tour, his standard yesterday suggests he will give Slevin a game.
Slevin has won five of his last ten matches and won three of his six first round Euro Tour matches. He hasn’t done anything hugely impressive on the Euro Tour and if Kurz can average over 90, he is in the match.
