2024 NFL Week 15 TNF Preview

Sometimes, things just don’t go right and last weekend was one of those time for Jan Keys. After a torrid couple of days his overall record has slipped to 50-51, he is hoping to rediscover his form as the 49ers take on the Rams in a massive NFC West shootout. Offensive And Defensive Averages

49ers: Average Total Yards (Off/Def) 379-299; Passing 240-183; Rushing 139-116.

Rams: Average Total Yards 341-366; Passing 238-225; Rushing 103-141.

Projected Totals: San Francisco 372 – Pass 252, Rush 120; Los Angeles 320 – Pass 210, Rush 110.

San Francisco are in must win territory. They need to win all four of their remaining matches to have a chance of making the Playoffs and this will be a tough task.

The 49ers were back to their brilliant best last week. They battered Chicago and they will be relying on QB Brock Purdy to have another big game through the air. San Francisco have big issues at running back, they have already lost star RB Christian McCaffrey and No.2 RB Jordan Mason, and now No 3 RB Isaac Guerendo could also miss the match as he isn’t fully fit.

The LA Rams are also in a must win situation with the NFC West divisional title still up for grabs. The Rams’ offense was in fine form last week, outscoring Buffalo in a shootout which is a big achievement. They may be in for another big offensive shootout here.

The projected numbers favour the home side so I will have to favour San Francisco to get the job done, especially with the line being Under 3 points.

Couple of Prop Notes: San Francisco’s third string RB Isaac Guerendo is questionable and leaves one of the usual strengths of San Francisco up in the air. Fourth string running back Patrick Taylor had 7 carries last week for 25 yards. Both he and Deebo Samuel may be used as running backs but I am not expecting too much from either of them.

Demarcus Robinson is in for 20.5 yards and he is injured. He was in the team last week but didn’t receive the ball so 0-0. He is unlikely to be used and I would favour Under 20.5 Yards.

Deebo Samuel’s last four matches have been consistently under his 49.5 receiving yards line (22, 21, 20, 22). Due to San Francisco having rushing injuries, there is a good chance Samuel will be used to run the football tonight. He carried five times last week so he will be an option and I am going to take him to go under the receiving yards line for the fifth week in a row.
