Detroit come into this match knowing that next week’s match up against Minnesota decides who wins the NFC North with the losers Seeded No.5 in the playoffs. They will be hoping for an injury free match here and a confidence boosting win.

San Francisco’s season is over. When they have a fully fit roster they probably have the best team in the League but this season they have suffered offensive injuries to key players and it has been hard to keep the results positive. I worry about their rushing with their top 2 RBs sidelined and Isaac Guerendo not fully fit, it really hampers the team.

I feel both teams will be playing at 90% and given the Lions’ form this season, they should win and cover the spread against the suffering 49ers.

I feel Brock Purdy will mainly rely on his Passing game especially as Isaac Guerendo is still carrying an injury. He is a capable Rusher and spent most of the season as back up to Jordan Mason but he had 16 carries for 57 yards in Week 15 and missed Week 16 due to injury, so I’m not sure he will want to carry the ball that often.
