Ricardo Pietreczko vs. Karel Sedlacek

The graveyard shift. Opening the show at noon on a Friday can be a bit of a downer, but somebody has to do it.

Sedlacek has won six of his last ten matches and he is playing quite well, with decent consistency. He has played six matches on the Euro Tour this year and won six. He reached the quarter final of ET3.

Pietreczko is a former Euro Tour winner and he too has won six of his last ten matches. He has played ten Euro Tour matches on the Euro Tour in 2025 and won five, all first round matches. Can he keep his run of first round wins going?

They have played twice and it is 1-1. Sedlacek is the 1.80 favourite, Pietreczko 2.06. Sedlacek is playing a little better, but Pietreczko is hard to shift in the first round. No bet.

2025 Dutch Darts Championship R1 Tip: No Bet

Martin Lukeman vs. Lukas Wenig

Strange form for Wenig. He has won his last six matches, all of them Euro Tour qualifiers. Before that he had lost six straight matches. His record on the Euro Tour in 2025 is played one, lost one, a 1-6 defeat to Nico Springer.

Smash got a late call up for this event and he needs to take advantage to help his rankings. He has won six of his last ten matches but hit five sub 90 averages. Not great. He has played five matches on the Euro Tour in 2025 and won three, making the quarter final at ET6 three weeks ago.

Their H2H record is 3-0 to Lukeman, all played last year, and Smash covered a -1.5 leg handicap in all three.

2025 Dutch Darts Championship R1 Tip: 1 point Lukeman to win -1.5 legs @ 2.00 with Betfair

Ryan Joyce vs. Jeffrey de Zwaan

A rare Euro Tour outing for The Swan, who now plies his trade on the Challenge Tour having lost his tour card. He came through the local qualifiers yesterday and hit three 90+ averages, something that he has failed to do in his last twelve matches on the Challenge Tour.

Joyce has enjoyed his time on the Euro Tour in 2025. He was runner up in ET2, reached the quarter final of ET4 and the semi-final of ET5. He has also lost two first round matches. His recent form sees six wins from his last ten matches. He has lost a bit of consistency but he should win this.

Joyce is the 1.50 favourite but he looks reasonable value on the handicap.

2025 Dutch Darts Championship R1 Tip: 1 point Ryan Joyce to win -1.5 legs @ 1.80 with Ladbrokes

Luke Woodhouse vs. Max Hopp

A rare Euro Tour outing for Max Hopp. His profile is so low that I didn’t realise that he had won his tour card back in January. He did play in ET6 but lost 4-6 to Mike de Decker in round one. His seasonal average is 87.29 and he has won six of his last ten, but two of those were local qualifiers. At Pro Tour level he has won five of his last ten.

Woody is a decent player these days and takes the Euro Tour seriously. He has played fifteen Euro Tour matches in 2025 and won nine. He reached the semi-final of ET6 three weeks ago. Luke has lost just one first round match and he knows that winning in the early rounds does good things for his ranking. He is the better player and in decent form.

2025 Dutch Darts Championship R1 Tip: 1 point Luke Woodhouse to win -1.5 @ 1.73 with Ladbrokes, Betfred
