2026 PDC WC Day 12 Preview

It was a tough day for us on Sunday but today is another chance. James Punt’s 2026 PDC WC Day 12 previews and tips are below.

Afternoon Session

Darren Beveridge vs. Madars Razma

It is seven days since Ice Cold beat a despondent Dimitri van den Bergh. It wasn’t really a match, just a run out for Beveridge to get his first taste of playing at the Palace. It was a bit like Antony Joshua splattering the Youtuber the other day. No contest. It was only an 91.62 average for the Scotsman, but he really didn’t have to do anymore.

Beveridge does have a very nice throw which should serve him well. However, he has lost six of his last ten matches and he has too many low scoring matches to think he can go far in this event.

Madars Razma closed the first night of the Championship, ten days ago, with a 3-1 win over Jamai van den Herik. It was an 89.07 average and three sets required a deciding leg. It was far from comfortable for Razzmatazz. The Latvian has won seven of his last ten matches but his last six have all seen sub-90 averages. He will have to pick his form up if he is to make much more progress here.

These two have only met once and that was a 6-5 win for Beveridge back in June. That was a low scoring affair, but both were 50% on the doubles. Razma is playing in his seventh World Championship and is the more experienced player. That may be deciding factor in what could be a tight match.

Razma is the 1.91 favourite, Beveridge 1.95. Could this go all the way?

Wessell Nijman vs. Gabriel Clemens

Wessell Nijman scored one of just three ton plus averages in the first round. He beat Karel Sedlacek 3-0, only dropping three legs. Nijman has won seven of his last ten matches and is playing well.

Gabriel Clemens beat American Alex Spellman 3-0, dropping just one leg, but it was a very poor performance from Spellman. Clemens has won just four of his last ten matches, and while he can still bang in a ton plus average, as he will likely need here, he is more likely to hit a sub-90. In his last 50 matches, Clemens has hit two ton plus averages, and twenty one sub-90’s.

Their H2H record is strange. They have played four times, all this year, and it is 2-2. Clemens won the first two 6-2 and 6-1 and Nijman the last two, both 5-6.

Nijman is the better player and the 1.25 favourite. It is hard to see Clemens finding enough to trouble Nijman.

David Munyua vs. Kevin Doets

We have seen two of the big ‘story’ players of round one already dumped out in round two. Motomu Sakai and Nitin Kumar both lost 0-3 yesterday. These big underdog winners in round one rarely survive round two.

Munyua played an extraordinary match to beat Mike de Decker, but he was aided and abetted by de Decker being rubbish. The Belgian averaged just 83.83 and the Kenyan is unlikely to get as many chances gifted to him, perhaps ever again. Munyua only averaged 80.78 himself and Doets should be booking his hotel for after Christmas.

Kevin Doets was OK in his 3-1 win over Matthew Dennant in round one. It was a 92.11 average but he was made to work, with three sets going to a decider. He will need to improve going forward, but he should be able to dominate this match, keep the crowd quiet and just get it done.

Doets is the 1.10 favourite, Munyua 8.50. It is not really a betting match for me.

2026 PDC WC Day 12 Tip: No Bet

James Wade vs. Ricky Evans

Both players faced Asian Tour players in round one. Both won 3-0, but Wade only dropped one leg against a disappointing Ryusei Azemoto. Evans had to work a bit harder to see off Man Lok Leung, who played reasonably well.

Wade has won five of his last ten matches, Ricky Evans seven. Evans is playing with a good deal of consistency, but low 90s kind of consistency. These two met in the group stage of the Grand Slam, with Wade winning 5-2. Overall, their H2H record is 8-3 to Wade and on TV it is 4-0 to The Machine.

Wade is the 1.44 favourite, Evans 3.20. Rapid is playing well enough to think he can get something out of the game, but Wade should be too good, once again.

2026 PDC WC Day 12 Tip: 0.5 point James Wade to win 3-1 @ 3.75 with Betfred

Evening Session

Gian van Veen vs. Alan Soutar

Soutar played an extraordinary match against Teemu Harju in round one. He went 2-0 up without dropping a leg and then he just went to pot. Lost the next two sets in deciding legs and eventually fell over the line 6-5 in the final set. He really deserved to lose.

Gian van Veen got a proper work out against Cristo Reyes. He won 3-1 and averaged 98.91 because he had to. He is in great form, winning eight of his last ten matches and scoring well.

Soutar has won five of his last ten matches and that reflects his lack of consistency. He can hit big averages, but is just a likely to hit a sub-90. He did say that he has had time off work in the build up to this event and had been able to practice more.

They have only met once, back in 2022, with Van Veen winning 6-2. The Dutchman is the 1.13 favourite and he is hard to oppose. No bet.

2026 PDC WC Day 12 Tip: No Bet

Nathan Aspinall vs. Leonard Gates

Gates has had his usual first round win and now its home time. This is a repeat of last year’s second round match, which Aspinall won 3-1. In the 2023 Championship it was Bunting who sent Gates packing, also winning 3-1.

Aspinall believes he is playing the best darts of his life and comes here with no injuries or Dartitis problems. He is working hard, getting hypnotherapy and working with a sports psychologist. He’s probably bought some lucky heather too, just to be on the safe side.

Aspinall only averaged 88 in last year’s match and I suspect he will be more ruthless this time round. He is the 1.11 favourite in another uncompetitive match. Aspinall is 2.70 to win 3-0 but just in case lightning strikes twice, I’ll pass on this one.

2026 PDC WC Day 12 Tip: No Bet

Luke Humphries vs. Paul Lim

It isn’t a great night for punting! Another very hot favourite with Humphries a 1.03 shot and Lim 26.00. These two met here back in the 2021 Championship and Lim won that 3-2. Humphries was a promising up and coming player back then. He has kicked on a bit since. Lim has had his moment of glory and it’s time to head back to Singapore. No bet.

2026 PDC WC Day 12 Tip: No Bet

Charlie Manby vs. Adam Sevada

Manby beat Menzies 3-2 in round one. It was a match that could have gone either way and Manby did have the home crowd pushing him over the line (and pushing Menzies over the edge).

Manby averaged 90.62 and maybe it wasn’t quite the performance it was cracked up to be, but he did the right things at the right time and Menzies didn’t. Manby can play better and maybe we will get to see it tonight.

Sevada beat Matt Campbell 3-1 in a fairly low-quality match. Sevada averages a shade under 90 over the last twelve months so he can play. Can he play as well as Manby? He doesn’t have the same A game, but I haven’t seen enough of Manby to know if he is really worth backing as a 1.50 shot.

However, I will take him at bigger odds giving up 1.5 sets, just in case he is as good as they say.

2026 PDC WC Day 12 Tip: 1 point Manby to win -1.5 sets @ 2.10 with Livescorebet
