2022 NFL Thanksgiving Preview & Tips

It is fair to say that GW11 didn’t go as Jan Keys hoped. The Jets, Broncos, and Giants all let us down on Sunday, and we saved the worst until last with the Arizona Cardinals imploding on Monday Night Football in Mexico. We are going with a slightly different format than usual for this preview. Jan has looked at the three 2022 NFL Thanksgiving games individually and he has a couple of recommended bets. DETROIT (4-6) V BUFFALO (7-3)

Line: Buffalo -10 Total Points: 53.5

Detroit Offence: 6th Defence: 32nd

Buffalo Offence: 2nd Defence: 13th

Detroit are on a 3 game winning streak but that is likely to end this afternoon. The big question is will Buffalo be able to cover the 10 point line? I will pass on this one. My Total Points come out at 49.4 so if I was to have a bet, it would be UNDER 53.5 POINTS.

DALLAS (7-3) V NY GIANTS (7-3)

Line: Dallas -10 Total Points: 45.5

Dallas Offence: 14th Defence: 9th

NY Giants Offence: 19th Defence: 17th

Dallas last week went to Minnesota and destroyed them 40-3 in a near perfect performance. Dallas also have a virtually fully fit team whereas the Giants have quite a few on the injury list. So, backing the Cowboys on the Line seems the logical way to go.

MINNESOTA (8-2) V NEW ENGLAND (6-4)

Line Minnesota: -2.5 Total Points: 42.5

Minnesota Offence: 18th Defence: 29th

New England Offence: 25th Defence: 4th

It’s hard to evaluate a Team coming of a 40-3 Home Defeat when everything went wrong, so it’s best to not read too much into this. This will be The Vikings first ever Home Thanksgiving Day game. My numbers say New England might shade it but my head is siding with Minnesota, so maybe I will sit this one out. NO BET
