2024 NFL Week 7 TNF Picks
Jan Keys went 5-2 with his NFL picks last week and his record for the season stands at 18-10; not too shabby. Check out Jan’s 2024 NFL Week 7 TNF picks below.
New Orleans Saints (2-4) VS Denver Broncos (3-3)
VEGAS LINES: New Orleans -2.5; TOTAL POINTS: 37.0
JAN KEYS RATINGS: Denver -2; TOTAL POINTS: 45.6
Last week’s Results
New Orleans 27 – Tampa Bay 51; Denver 16 – LA Chargers 23
Offensive And Defensive Averages
NO Saints: Average Yards (Off/Def) 320-396; Passing 200-262; Rushing 120-134
Denver Broncos: Average Yards 278-264 Passing 171-170; Rushing 107-114
New Orleans started the season with two good victories but since then they have hit a 4 game losing streak. Last week they were hammered 51-27 at home to Tampa Bay. New Orleans went into that match without starting QB Derek Carr and had Spencer Rattler playing his first NFL match. With Carr still injured, Rattler will remain the starting QB.
Although Spencer Rattler was sacked 5 times it wasn’t just his performance that failed on the night vs the Buccaneers. The Saints’ rushing team gained only 81 yards from 21 attempts, not to mention a defence giving away 51 points.
Denver started the season with rookie QB Bo Nix, who has done okay. If anything, Denver are doing slightly better than the judges expected. Both these sides started the season at roughly the same level.
Saints vs Broncos Prop Lines
New Orleans
Spencer Rattler: passing yards 184.5; passing attempts 28.5; rushing yards 21.5
Alvin Kamara rushing yards 70.5; Jamaal Williams rushing yards 9.5
Receiving yards: Alvin Kamara 35.5; Bub Means 33.5; Juwan Johnson 27.5
Mason Tipton 26.5; Cedric Wilson 17.5; Foster Moreau 8.5
Denver
Bo Nix: passing yards 192.5; passing attempts 29.5; rushing yards 27.5
Javonte Williams 47.5 rushing yards; Jaleel McLaughlin rushing yards 21.5
Receiving yards: Courtland Sutton 46.5; DeVaughn Vele 32.5
Troy Franklin 21.5; Javonte Williams 16.5; Lucas Krull 10.5
Jan Keys Best Prop Bets
So far this season Mason Tipton’s receiving yards are: 2, 6, 11, 0, 6. I am not sure where this high number has come from. When he played against Kansas City in the first game of the season the line was only 6.5 (scored 2).
New Orleans: Mason Tipton receiving yards under 26.5
New Orleans are missing their top 2 receivers in Olave and Shaheed, so last week Bub Means received the ball 5 times for 45 yards. It’s hard to see him not getting similar chances this week and if so, he will likely beat the 33.5 yards.
New Orleans: Bub Means receiving yards over 33.5
