2025 Baltic Sea Darts Friday Evening Tips

James Punt’s 2025 Baltic Sea Darts Friday evening preview and tips are below.

Dirk van Duijvenbode vs. Ryan Meikle

Both players have won five of their last ten matches and their H2H record is 3-3, but I do not expect this to be close.

In Dirk’s last ten matches he has hit eight 96+ averages. In his last ten, Meikle has hit seven sub 90s and four sub-85s.

2025 Baltic Sea Darts Friday Tip: 1 point Dirk van Duijvenbode to win -2.5 legs @ 2.00 with Ladbrokes

Raymond van Barneveld vs. Andy Baetens

Baetens is in his second season as a tour card holder and is ranked 71st. He needs to get into the top 64 to automatically keep his card for another year, otherwise it is back to Q school. He was tipped to do big things on tour, but it has never got going for him. He has won six of his last ten matches but hit five sub 90 averages.

Barney has lost five of his last ten matches and hit four sub 90 averages. Both players are not exactly firing on all cylinders.

They have never met before so there is very little to go on here. Baetens needs the win much more than Barney does and that can work both ways. Baetens has played four Euro Tour events in total and won three of his four first round matches, and half of his eight matches. In 2025 Barney has won five of his eight first rounders.

Barney is the 1.67 favourite, Baetens 2.38. I can’t find anything in this match. No bet.

2025 Baltic Sea Darts Friday Tip: No Bet

Daryl Gurney vs. Martin Lukeman

Smash has won eight of his last ten matches but is not scoring great. Half saw sub 90 averages and only one above 93. He will have to up his game against Superchin.

Gurney won the World Cup of Darts last month but that was in a pairs format. Since going back to flying solo he has won thirteen of his eighteen played. There has been some good stuff but low marks for consistency.

Gurney has won four of his six opening matches on the Euro Tour this year and he is twenty sixth on the European Championship OOM. Not yet quite secure and a win here might be enough.

Lukeman is thirty sixth on the OOM and as he has to qualify for these events, he needs to take any chances he gets. That is added pressure, especially as his game is not in great shape.

Their H2H record is 4-1 to Gurney and in their only previous Euro Tour meeting, he won 6-3 last year.

Daryl Gurney is the 1.62 favourite, Lukeman 2.50. I will take Gurney to cover the handicap.

2025 Baltic Sea Darts Friday Tip: 1 point Daryl Gurney to win -1.5 legs @ 2.05 with Ladbrokes

Mike De Decker vs. Mensur Suljovic

A rare Euro Tour outing for Mensur, but he comes here in decent nick having won eight of his last nine matches.

De Decker has won six of his last ten matches and hit six ton plus averages. He also had a couple of sub-90s, but mostly, he is playing well. He has won six of his eight first round matches on the Euro Tour this season.

Their H2H record is 6-3 to Suljovic, but De Decker has won their last two, both last year. I do wonder if the pace of play might bother De Decker, one of his two first round defeats was to Mickey Mansell, another slow player.

De Decker is the 1.53 favourite, Suljovic 2.75. They have played seven best of eleven leg matches, five of which went over 9.5 legs and four needed a deciding leg.

2025 Baltic Sea Darts Friday Tip: 1 point over 9.5 legs @ 2.10 with Betvictor, Skybet, Betfair

Ricardo Pietreczko vs. Sebastian Bialecki

Pikachu keeps his best stuff for the Euro Tour and he has won all seven of his opening matches in 2025. Bialecki has lost five of his last ten matches and lost four of his seven Euro Tour first round matches.

Pietreczko should be too good for the young Pole.

2025 Baltic Sea Darts Friday Tip: 1 point Pietreczko to win -1.5 legs @ 1.85 with Ladbrokes

Joe Cullen vs. Justin Hood

Cullen has lost six of his last ten matches and is struggling for form. Six of his last ten matches have seen sub 91 averages.

The same stat goes for Hood, who has won five of his last ten matches.

Cullen has lost six of his last eight Euro Tour first round matches, Hood is making his Euro Tour debut.

Two players struggling for form but one is hugely experienced on the Euro Tour, the other a debutant.

Cullen is the 1.73 favourite, Hood 2.10 and being backed. I imagine Cullen will be livid that he isn’t a bigger favourite. I think I will sit this one out. No bet.
