2026 Baltic Sea Darts Open Saturday Preview
It was another profitable session for James this afternoon with three winners from four tips. Check out James Punt’s 2026 Baltic Sea Darts Open Saturday preview below.
Danny Noppert vs. William O’Connor
The Magpie played well to beat Cristo Reyes 6-4, averaging 94.20 with three maximums and a 43% checkout rate. Solid stuff. He has won six of his last ten matches, but he has lost four of his five second round matches on the Euro Tour this season. He has played pretty well in all of them and ironically, the one he won was with his worst performance.
Noppert, the money farmer, wins lots of matches but very few titles. He has won seven of his last ten matches and on the Euro Tour, he has played seven second round matches and won five. His last three, however, have seen pretty poor performances and last weekend he lost 5-6 to the out of form Ricardo Pietreczko.
Their H2H record is 8-3 to Danny Noppert but they have had some very close matches. In their seven best of 11 legs matches there have been four that went to a decider and two were 6-4. Their last match was in ET13 last year, Noppert winning 6-5.
2026 Baltic Sea Darts Open Saturday Tip: 1 point over 9.5 legs @ 1.95 with Boylesports
Chris Dobey vs. Sebastian Bialecki
Bialecki was very impressive in his 6-3 win over James Hurrell. It was a 100 average, four 180s and 43% checkout rate. He has won eight of his last ten matches and is playing with a reasonable degree of consistency. Bialecki has only ever played four second round matches on the Euro Tour and lost them all.
Dobey comes here having lost six of his last ten matches. On the Euro Tour, Dobey has lost his last two second round matches, both to Kim Huybrechts. He did win his other four. Maybe Bialecki will come on stage wearing a Huybrechts mask.
Their H2H record is 2-0 to Bialecki and both were easy wins, 6-2 and 6-3. One this season and another just a couple of weeks ago. Dobey just hasn’t played well against the Pole.
Dobey is the 1.40 favourite with Bialecki 3.00. At the odds, I am happy to back Bialecki. He is in form, he has beaten Dobey twice and done so very recently.
2026 Baltic Sea Darts Open Saturday Tip: 1 point Sebastian Bialecki to win @ 3.00 with Unibet, Livescorebet
James Wade vs. Niels Zonneveld
Wade has won seven of his last ten matches and won his last three second round matches on the Euro Tour, having lost his first three. He has put in some strong performances in Europe in the last three events but has run into players putting in even better performances.
Zonneveld has had two semi-finals and a quarter final on the Euro Tour in 2026 but his form has tailed off since. He averaged just 89.34 in a 6-4 win over Richard Veenstra yesterday. Zonneveld has played six second matches and won three.
Their H2H record is 8-5 to Wade and on the Euro Tour 2-1 to Wade. In their twelve best of 11 leg matches, nine have been under 9.5 legs, including their seven in a row.
Wade is the 1.80 favourite, Zonneveld 2.05. Wade looks the value bet to me. He is playing better right now and might get another wide margin win.

Stephen Bunting vs. Cameron Menzies
Bunting has won seven of his last ten matches, and now that the PL is behind him, I expect him to kick on, just as he did last year. Bunting has won three of his five second round matches but he hasn’t been at his best on the Euro Tour, so far.
Menzies has won six of his last ten matches and averaged 108.41 in his 6-4 win over the in-form Rob Cross last night. However, five of his last ten matches saw sub 91 averages. You really don’t know what you are going to get with Menzies.
Their H2H record is 6-3 to Menzies and they played twice on the Euro Tour last year with one win each. Bunting is the 1.60 favourite, Menzies 2.50. The Ayrshire plumber has won six of their last seven matches and looks the value bet.
2026 Baltic Sea Darts Open Saturday Tip: 1 point Cameron Menzies to win @ 2.50 with SpreadEx, Betfair, BET365
Nathan Aspinall vs. Kevin Doets
The return of The Asp. He hasn’t played since the 19th of April and I don’t know what kind of form he will be in. He probably doesn’t know either.
Doets has won seven of his last ten matches and beat Lukas Wenig 6-3 last night with a pretty ordinary performance. He is winning a lot of matches (his win rate is 76% in 2026) and has won four of his five second round matches.
Their H2H record is a convincing 6-2 to Doets, but Aspinall did beat Doets in the semi-final of ET4 earlier this season. That was Aspinall at the absolute peak of his form, averaging 106.48. Doets got a Euro Tour win over Aspinall last year, a 6-2 win in ET5.
Kevin Doets is the 1.80 favourite and he gets the nod.

Gian van Veen vs. Dimitri van den Bergh
Dimitri won us our bet yesterday, beating the out of form Alan Soutar 6-2. It was a very poor match, with Soutar averaging just 80.89. Dimitri has won six of his last ten matches as he tries to rebuild his career.
Van Veen has lost five of his last ten matches and he is not close to his best form. I think a combination of his surgery for gallstones and the grind of playing in his first Premier League has just worn him out a little.
That said, he should be too good for Van den Bergh, but odds of 1.36 are of no interest. Van den Bergh did beat Van Veen 6-2 last month but he caught the Dutchman on an off day when he averaged just 87.71, missing nine of eleven doubles. No bet.
2026 Baltic Sea Darts Open Saturday Tip: No bet
Martin Schindler vs. Ryan Joyce
Joyce hit three bulls to checkout 150 against Christian Kist and he ended up as the 6-3 winner after that throw just knocked Kist right out of his stride. Joyce has won seven of his last ten matches and three of his four second round matches on the Euro Tour this season.
Schindler has won five of his last ten matches and is not showing a lot of consistency. He has hit everything from a 113.79 average to an 84.26 in those last ten. He has won five of his seven second round matches on the Euro Tour.
Their H2H record is 4-4 and in 2025 2-1 to Joyce. Schindler is the 1.75 favourite, Joyce 2.20. Schindler has home advantage but it is a not a match that is making any appeal. No bet.
2026 Baltic Sea Darts Open Saturday Tip: No Bet
Ross Smith vs. Niko Springer
Smudger got his first Euro Tour title last week and hopefully he will be focused on trying to win another. He has won eight of his last ten matches but hit five sub 91 averages, so his consistency isn’t there. Will that win help?
Springer is a hard player to call. He can be very ordinary or do silly things like beating Wessel Nijman 6-0 in ET6. He has won six of his last ten matches. He has enjoyed playing Smith and is 3-1 and with two wins in 2026, including a 6-2 win in ET2. Smith was poor on his doubles that day.
Smith is the 1.57 favourite, Springer 2.63. That H2H record is a big enough danger sign for me to sit this one out and hope that our outright selection can get the win. No bet.
