In terms of quality, it has been a bit of a mixed bag at this year’s Euros. However, there’s been plenty of drama and there’s sure to be more on Sunday when Spain face England in the final in Berlin. Spain vs England Match Preview

Spain reach the Final having won all 6 of their matches. To be fair to them, they have been the best team in the tournament by far. They play with good balance and have a very talented line up. They navigated a tough draw to reach the Final, brushing aside Germany and France along the way. Playing Southgate’s England in the decider should be a walk in the park.

England have improved slightly since the Borefest group stage. They have ridden their luck to reach this final and, on a few occasions, they have won despite not being the best team. England have had a much easier route to reach the Final and I’m sure they will give it a go on Sunday.

Can England win? I very much doubt it. They will need to defend much better against the most potent attack they have faced so far. As is usually the case, they will spend most of the match on the back foot. As much as I would love to see football come home, it just isn’t going to happen. Back Spain to win in 90 minutes.
