Switzerland vs Italy Match Preview

With goals at a premium it’s hard to see either of these two teams winning easily. The goal line is set at 2 goals and 1-1 seems the most logical score line. It would not be a big surprise to me were it to finish scoreless either.

My ratings make Italy 0.30 Favourites but that doesn’t count for much and it is in the price. It’s really hard to get excited about this match but we live in hope of a livelier game than what the lines are suggesting.

Plenty of reason to think this could go to Extra Time and then Penalties but we’ll split our stakes on 0-0/1-1 correct score after 90 minutes.

Germany vs Denmark Match Preview

I was amazed to see Germany get a late equalizer against Switzerland as a defeat would have taken them to the bottom half of the draw. The 92nd minute equalizer by Niclas Fulkrug probably wasn’t given a big cheer by their management.

Everyone is taking about a Germany vs Spain Quarter Final, but Germany will have to clear this hurdle first. However, I do believe the Germans will win this match up.

Germany will dominate the ball with around 62% possession and they seem to have a hard press so most of the possession will be in the Danes’ half. From what I have seen of the Danes they lack a bit of firepower up front with both their tournament goals coming from midfield.

So, I am backing Germany to win to nil.
