Adam Gawlas vs. Ryan Joyce
Gawlas made the quarter finals in his native Czech Republic last weekend, but his scoring was not great, and the crowd played a big part in creating a difficult atmosphere for his opponents.
Ryan Joyce has won seven of his last ten matches, reaching the semi-final of PC15 a couple of weeks ago. That’s harder than making the quarter final on the Euro tour and his scoring was a lot better.
They played twice in 2021 and Joyce won 6-1 and 6-2.

Ryan Miekle vs. Ron Meulenkamp
The Barber is in decent form, winning seven of his last eleven matches, and scoring well in most. Ron The Bomb is struggling in 2022 and has lost four of his last five matches, not scoring well. Their H2H record is 4-2 to Miekle, but three of those where Home Tour matches. They have met once in 2022 and Miekle was the 6-2 winner.

Jim Williams vs. Rowby-John Rodriguez
This looks like a pretty even match. Rowby-John has won six of his last ten and reached the quarter final last weekend, scoring in the mid to high 90’s in all matches. Jim Williams doesn’t have the experience of Rodriguez in Europe, playing just three matches and losing two. He has lost six of his last ten but is a pro tour winner in 2022. Williams is a reasonably heavy scorer and will not be easy to beat and I can see this being a good match that might go the distance.
