Friday Dutch Darts Championship Match Betting Tips

James has already posted an outright betting preview, see that here. His Friday Dutch Darts Championship match previews and tips are below.

Ian White vs. Arron Monk

White is on the comeback trail and he looks to have a decent draw here. His H2H record against Monk is 7-2, albeit most of the matches were in 2019 and earlier, They have met once in 2023 and White won 6-5. He is the 1.50 favourite. White is in good form, winning seven of his last ten matches. Monk is in dreadful form, losing eight of his last ten.

Friday Dutch Darts Championship Tip: 1 point Ian White to win -1.5 legs @ 1.80 with Betvictor

Gian van Veen vs. Gabriel Clemens

Far too good a match to be put on so early. Van Veen is another young player who seems to have the world at his feet. Bags of ability and with his head screwed on the right way. He has won seven of his last ten matches at senior level, hitting four ton plus averages, including a 110.76. He can do that sort of thing.

Gabriel Clemens has won five of his last ten matches and he is struggling to string any runs together since he made a Players Championship final in February. He has won two of his six Euro Tour matches but he has been scoring well, all over 94 averages except his defeat to Heta in ET4.

This has the potential to be a very good match. Both players are heavy scorers but Van Veen will be the more confident player, albeit with very little Euro Tour or stage form.

Clemens is the 1.83 favourite, Van Veen 2.00. I would have those odds reversed, at the very least. Clemens is playing well enough to think he has a chance and he should at least make a match of it.

Friday Dutch Darts Championship Tip: 1 point Gian van Veen to win @ 2.00 generally available
Friday Dutch Darts Championship Tip: 1 point over 9.5 legs @ 1.91 with Ladbrokes, Boylesports, Hills

Riccardo Pietreczko vs. Daryl Gurney

Pietreczko has made quite an impression on the Euro Tour this season. He has only played in two events but reached the quarter final of ET2, taking Cross to a deciding leg. In ET 4 he beat Cameron Menzies 6-4 and then took Michael Smith to a deciding leg. Six matches played and four won.

He hasn’t quite got the consistency to think he could win a tournament yet, but he has a very good A game and has reached two Players Championship semi-finals. He has won six of his last ten matches and in those four he has hit four sub 90 averages, two ton plusses and we could get anything.

Superchin Revival

Superchin will have been revived by reaching his first semi-final for a while in last week’s Austrian Darts Open. It was not his best form scoring wise, but the point was stringing four wins in a row together which he hadn’t done since Players Championship 1 (euro qualifiers not included).

His confidence should have received a much needed boost and he will now be looking to push on and cash in on these Euro Tour events which give him an opportunity to win plenty of ranking money.

Gurney is the 1.62 favourite, Pietreczko 2.38. That looks about right and as we have backed Gurney at big odds outright, I am happy to sit this out and hope for the best.

Friday Dutch Darts Championship Tip: No Bet

Raymond van Barneveld vs. Dimitri van den Bergh

Barney has won seven of his last ten matches but his consistency has been poor. Four matches saw sub 90 averages, three saw ton plusses and it is hard to say how he will go. He has played nine Euro Tour events but won just four, all of them first round matches.

Van den Bergh has had to hotfoot it from playing in the Premier League last night. He was beaten by Nathan Aspinall for the second week in a row, He has won six of his last ten matches, thanks to a run to the semi-final of PC10.

Their H2H record is 5-3 to Dimitri and he has won their last three with a cumulative score of 18-4. Van den Bergh has played six Euro Tour matches in 2023 and won just two.

Dimitri is the 1.90 favourite, Van Barneveld 2.00. I’ll go for another short match.

Friday Dutch Darts Championship Tip: 1 point under 9.5 legs @ 1.85 with Ladbrokes
